Mutnametzu (mut-nam-ET-zu) also known as the Kingdom of Mutnametzu, is a sovereign archipelago island nation in the Versutian Federation. Located off the east coast of the main land masses of the Versutian Federation. Other countries near the Mutnametzu are Aurania to the southwest and Ghostopolis to the south. Its capital is Sutnamu, on Isiqhingi Esikhulu. Mutnametzu has three official languages – Swazi, Zulu and English.

Mutnametzu has numerous islands in the country, the largest being Isiqhingi Esikhulu, where the Capital is situated. The population is estimated at 1,753,120. As a nation formed at a crossroads of different civilisations, the archipelago is noted for its diverse culture and history. The archipelago was first inhabited by Bantu speakers who came from all over the southern African culture.

The country consists of three major islands and numerous smaller islands, all in the volcanic Mutnametzu archipelago. The major islands are commonly known by their Zulu names: the largest Isiqhingi Esikhulu (Great Island); Inkosi isiqhingi (King Island); and Indlovukazi isiqhingi (She-Elephant Island; known as Queen Mother Island).

The nation is divided by two major races, called the Zutu and Mzeti people. The division resulted in a civil war in 2007, which caused the deaths of over 600,000 people and 250,000 refugees were forced to move out of the country, mainly to Aurania. The division has been moderated by the National Peacekeeping Agency (Inhlangano kazwelonke yokulondoloza ukuthula) and has allowed the two races to live amongst each other and work together for the first time in years.
