The 2018 Narsoran General Elections were held in The Republic of Narsora on 6 November 2018 to elect the President, Vice President and the National Congress. On 6 November 2018, former President of the Senate María Castellano came first in the first round of the presidential election. A run-off between Castellano and incumbent president Sandalio Joaquín Espina was held on 26 November 2018 in which Castellano received the majority of the total votes to become the first directly elected female president of the country.

In the first round of voting New Democratic candidate and president of the senate María Castellano came in first with 48.72% of the total vote with incumbent president Sandalio Joaquín Espina gaining a close 42.44%. For the first time, the Left-Green party earned a noteworthy 6.63% of the total vote or 1,348,794 votes.
Second Round
In a run-off election was held on November 26, 2018, New Democratic candidate María Castellano defeated incumbent Sandalio Joaquín Espina, with her receiving 53.75% of the total number of votes over Espina's 41.25%. Many political analysts predicted much tighter margins between the two (3% of the total number of votes were counted as invalid).
