The United Republic of Gibberan, known as the Republic of Gibberan until 28 December 1901 and commonly known as simply Gibberan, is a sovereign state located in Esquarium. The is made up the island of Gibberia (a term sometimes loosely applied to the whole state) and the islands of Berkal, Foltz, Mickel, and the Ordaz Isles. It is surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean, with the Gibberish Sea (alternatively referred to as the Sea of Gibberan) in the south and east and the Paketan-Carolinian Sea in the west.
Gibberan's form of government is an elective constitutional monarchy with a parliamentary system and its capital city is Gibber, also the country's largest. The current Gibberish monarch—since 11 November 2004—is King Marcus Brody, successfully reelected in 2009 for another five-year term.
The United Republic is a developed country and has one of the region's largest economies by nominal GDP. It was one of the world's first industrialized country and has remained a world power since, with considerable economic, cultural, military, scientific and political influence internationally. It is a recognized nuclear weapons state and its military expenditure ranks fourth in the region.
The UK has been a permanent member of the World Assembly Security Council since its first session. It was the founding member of the Western Coalition (WC) and its predecessor of the same name since 1936, and the Gibberish government holds the office of prime minister in the organization, the leader of the coalition's Joint Council. It is also a member of the League of Christian Nations, the International Freedom Alliance (Formerly the Republican Treaty Organization), NATO, and the World Trade Organization (WTO).
