Basd, officially the Federal Republic of Basd (Basdian: Aq gudafederaaol Republik aqa Basd), is a sovereign state located in Benevolent Capitalism.

The country's form of government is a Federal republic. The capital city, Basd, Basd, is the country's political, economic, and cultural center with a population of nearly 6 million. It is where the federal government is located. The President is the Head of State and the representative of Basd at the World Assembly. The Senate, which is composed of 80 Senators, is the legislative body of the federal government. Laws passed by the federal Senate must be followed by all provinces. However, provincial governments can pass their own laws as long as they do not contradict existing federal law. The government budget is focused mainly on industry, welfare, and defense.

Basd is a small but economically powerful nation, thanks to a very large private sector and very few government restrictions on businesses. Although many parts of Basd are still severely under-developed, specifically in rural zones far from the capital, the country's large, dense cities are industrial powerhouses. Basd's educational system is regarded as horrible. The environment is disgusting, especially around the cities where pollution kills off all plant and animal life with a 15-mile radius. Most citizens do not go to university, and instead attend cheap colleges established by corporations that instruct them how to do jobs for the company. Religion is increasingly unpopular in Basd.
