The Ghydershan Democratic Nation of Dheiaslokera (GDND), sometimes known as Dheiaslokera (DS) or simply Daen is a federal democratic republic situated in southern Thyfoar. From North West to East, it shares its borders with Hied, Olcadion and the land occupied by the Ghydershanian Table. It shares maritime borders with Uutoka via the Thyfoar crossing and with the Universal Allegiance via the Igkfor sea. At 772 billion square miles, it is the largest country in the United Ghydershanian Socialist Provinces and it takes up approximately two thirds of the land owned by the region. As such, it is the most powerful, influential and highly populated nation in both its country and region.
The nation was founded by a group of Hieden exiles between 823 and 827 BC who had traveled to a remote part of the region recently ravaged by war with the Universal Allegiance. Stories passed down orally through the generations state that the settlers used the wrecks of ships to construct shelters. The kingdom of Fainog was built in 843 BC, becoming the area's first city. Adopting Continental Ghydanism and Achkspheoal from Hied, the populace finally declared itself an independent country by 850 BC.
