The Republic of Flauc commonly called Flauc, is a direct democracy in NationStates. It is bordered on the north by inhabited land because of the sheer conditions, on the south Flauc is surrounded by water, on the east Flauc is bordered by Benotonia and Bohemoravia, and bordered on the west by Nocturnalis. Flauc covers an estimated 1500 square kilometers and has has an estimated population of 218 million. Flauc comprises of 50 subdivisions and 5 regions.
The Republic of Flauc is an peaceful nation that prefers diplomacy over war. The Republic of Flauc is quite strong in it's region, and considers itself an regional power alongside other nations.

The name Flauc deprives from the word 'together' in Flaucian. That was picked as the names for the civilization because the people of it were very 'tied together' in the ways of culture, music, friendship and traits. The Flaucians were an civilization that habited the lands next to the Adriatic Sea in Italy, estimated 1200 BC. Flaucians expanded their culture greatly and began giving power to people with more skills. Over time, all of the Flaucians united and formed the Flaucian Republic in estimated 800 BC. Flaucians were one of the first nations/civilizations in the world.
The standard way to refer to a citizen of Flauc is as a "Flaucian."
History
The rebellion lasted for 37 years, which was an age of enlightenment to disband the rule of the colonizers & exploiters. The leaders of these rebellions were Kelvin Srard, James Vlence and Hector Lucreka. They wrote books about how the Flauci Tribes were suppressed and their minerals exploited. These 3 men tried to encourage education of the Flauci Tribes and encouraged them to stand up against the imperialistic rule. After the rebellion, an independent nation that had an absolute monarchy rule was established in 1817. The nation lasted until 1917, when it transferred to an indirect, federal republic until 1945. In 1945, the People's Republic emerged after an communist & socialist party gained rule and established Flauc an single-party People's Republic. This lasted until 1983, when the people began an uprising because of their unjust and brutal treatment by the oppressive regime. The government was toppled, and an semi-presidential, direct democracy was founded after democratic forces captured the capital.

People usually prefer to live in these areas, because it isn't too cold or too hot. Humid Continental Climate - this means that people who live in these areas usually experience warm to hot summers and cold to severely cold winters. Subarctic Climate, this means that people who live in these areas usually experience very cold winters and cool to mild summers. People in these areas usually don't like to live there because it's too cold, but it is still habitable. Tundra Climate - this means that people who live in these areas have an cold and windy climate, and rainfall is scant. These are one of the harshest and coldest climates to live in Flauc. Polar Climate - There is an lack of summers and the areas are very, very cold and windy. Only a few small cities exist in these areas, and these are the places where mines are and small factories exist. These areas are home to many dangerous animals, such as polarbears and others. The government do not advise people to visit these areas, as they might freeze to death without help. It is rumored that many of the nation's military bases reside in this climate area, because it is very hard to reach.
Most cities are in the Humid Continental Climate, or the Marine West Coast Climate, but there are also some people that dare to live in the Tundra & Polar Climates.
The enviornment in Flauc fares very well - it is protected by the government and corporations are not allowed to do anything that may damage the enviornment unless given government approval.

Population 96.3% of the people living in Flauc are Flaucians that are born in the nation, however, 1.7% are Nocts 1.1% are Benotonians, 0.3% are Tekeristanis, 0.4% are Bohemoravians, and the remaining 0.2% are Cardulanians.
Language The language has an Latin alphabet since the colonizers spoke in English and English had an Latin alphabet, so Latin became the stone for the language spoken in Flauc. Since the colonizing powers spoke English, a lot of people in Flauc speak English and Flaucian can be easily learnt by English people as the languages are similar in a few words and sentence construction is similar to English.
Religion
Religion in Flauc isn't an hot issue. Most Flaucians are either christian or catholic and some are atheist. In the past, the Flaucis Tribe had no religion, but they had some days they celebrated, usually the days the first snow fell or the first leaves began falling off the trees. When the colonizers came, they brought their religion with them. So many people were either forced or voluntarily shifted to christianity or catholicism.
Race Most Flaucians have white colored skin, however 1.7% have black colored skin and 2.3% have brown colored skin. This is because the first tribes had a white skin color, and the black/brown colors are because the colonizing powers sent the black/brown colored people to mines in Flauc when the enviornment was exploited by them.
Government
All of the political party HQs are located in Vreksa City, the capital of Flauc. The only parties that do not operate in Vreksa City are the Red Workers Party, which operate mostly in Flaucano City. The Republic of Flauc is an semi-presidential republic.
The 2015 elections came in with Jens Lykker elected as the President, with James Farren appointed as Prime Minister. The National Council consists of 300 members. There are 3 coalitions currently, and they are:
