Overview
The Constitutional Duchy of Merlinton is a colossal nation currently located in the Eurasian Socialist Union.
The nation is estimated to have been formed on January 21, 2013, and joined the Eurasian Socialist Union in early 2015.
Merlinton is active on the offsite forums of the ESU, maintaining diplomatic relations with the nations of her region. In mid-June, 2015, Merlinton formed the Liberal Socialist Party together with Kivasek, a party that would grow to become the largest of the Eurasian Socialist Union. Merlinton was also First-Place Winner of the Eurasian Trivial Tournament, Volume 1, of July 6-12, 2015. As of August 15, 2015, Merlinton became the WA Delegate of the ESU. In 2016 she became the Editor-in-Chief of the Vox Populi, the ESU's regional newspaper.
Previously to joining the Eurasian Socialist Union, Merlinton was a member nation of the now ex-region DBPB. Merlinton joined DBPB soon after forming and remained there until she was a hermit, finally electing to move to the ESU, her present-day location.
The government of Merlinton, headed by Duchess Nicole Westwyck, is a compassionate and liberal-minded body, largely prioritizing Education, Welfare, and the Environment.
