Etymology

The Gulf Empire was originally named after the Gulfist Regime which was started as a revolutionary movement in Mexico and ended up dominating the Euroasian Union and taking over the world. The name "Gulf" was chosen by then-captain Holland who wanted a name that was original. He envisioned the empire as "engulfing its enemies" so he decided to name it the all-engulfing Regime or the Gulf Regime. Later, when the Euroasian Union was created, Holland renamed it after the Gulfist Regime as the Gulf Empire. "Empire" alludes to its imperialistic expansionist ideology.

History

Founding of the Gulf Regime

The Gulf Empire was originally founded and conceived in early 2007 by a group of teenagers living in LinkTucson, a small city in the southwestern United States. The group of teenagers were attending a local college, Pima Community College. The most prominent members of the group were Jack Holland (their ringleader and son of a nurse and local schoolteacher), Ryan Laks (son of a local pastor), and David Williams (son of a businessman and lawyer). All three of them were very skilled in tactics and warfare and were good with persuasion and politics. Holland and his ban began to start growing numbers and they decided to begin an insurrection. The insurrection started with small meetings in alley ways, abandoned houses, and in washes. Holland's gang first call themselves the "Gulfists", a name that was supposed to mean they "engulfed and destroyed their enemies." The Gulfists began to get their hands on shotguns and assault rifles and began to start commiting crimes and killing people who made fun of them or who jeopardized their position. After a while though, the FBI discovered the existence of their gang and put out a warrant to their arrest. Due to their new contacts in the police department, the Gulfists recognized they were being hunted and as FBI agents broke into their homes and searched their meeting areas, the Gulfists fled south across the border into LinkMexico. They made their base of operations in LinkPuerto Penasco, safe from the FBI. For a while, the Gulfists remained in Puerto Penasco, enjoying the beach, making plans, and thinking up dreams for the future but in a few weeks, they came up with a plan.

World War III

After coming up with an idea in early 2007, the three leaders of the Gulfists decided to part ways. Williams went to Berlin, Laks went to Tokyo, and Holland slipped back to the United States. In Berlin, Williams met together with neo-Nazis in Germany and gave them a plan to retake Germany. In Tokyo, Laks met with Fitsou Buchida, the corrupt Prime Minister of Japan. Holland meanwhile began training a guerrilla army composed of ex-convicts, high-school dropouts, drug cartels, and ex-police or army officers. One March 17, 2007, a group of neo-Nazis successfully captured the German Presidential Palace and executed the President and Chancellor of Germany. Soon after, Williams became the sole Chancellor and "Fuhrer" of the Fourth Reich. Meanwhile, in Japan, Laks and Buchida removed any opposition in Japan and created a communistic alliance with China, North Korea, and Vietnam, who agreed to help conquer Asia in turn for creating a massive communist government. Russia soon jumped on the bandwagon and joined the war too, quickly swallowing up most of Asia, despite futile American, British, and French opposition. The Fourth Reich made an alliance with the European Union whose corrupt officials quickly supported the subjugation of all of Europe and the United Nations collapsed summarily.

On January 1, 2008, the newly created Communist Republic of Euroasia under command of Supreme Chairman Buchida and Prime Minister Laks declared war on the Fourth Reich and, with the help of Holland new guerrilla armies, they defeated the Fourth Reich and captured Chancellor Williams who was alleged to be executed but it is a known fact that he was not killed since he was part of the plan. However, on May 7, Holland's Gulfist forces attacked Euroasia and Laks' purposefully appointed bad generals so that after the fight, Holland quickly overwheled Tokyo and captured Buchida, who was summarily executed for "treason." On July, 2008, Jack Holland proclaimed the new Euroasia republic to be the "Gulf Empire"

Rise of the Gulf Empire

The new Gulf Empire flew a flag designed by Holland which was a blue sheet with a white Celtic cross in the center, the symbol of the Gulfist Regime. Laks became the new Emperor of the Gulf Empire until September 11, when Holland replaced him as the new Emperor. Soon after his rise to power, Holland officially changed the name from "Emperor" to "Chancellor" and the capital of the Gulf Empire was moved from Tokyo to Berlin. Holland spent the rest of 2008 conquering the Middle East and Palestine. However, by 2009, three massive nations faced him, the Federative Republic of Brazil, United States of America, and the People's Republic of Kazakhstan. Gulf troops attacked both Brazil and Kazakhstan but Brazil repulsed Gulf forces despite being heavily bombed. By June of 2009, Gulf forces had successfully invaded Kazakhstan despite US and Brazilian aid and in October 1, 2009, Holland declared war on the United States. Gulf forces attacked American forces at San Diego and destroyed hundreds of ships there while Gulf forces also bombed Anaheim and Disneyland, killing thousands of Americans. An enraged Congress declared war but when the Gulf armies captured the west and east coasts and threatened to unleash Russia's nukes on them, the United States surrendered to them officially on January 8, 2010.

Soon after America's surrender, the Gulf Empire quickly conquered the rest of North and Central America. The rest of South America quickly swore allegiance to Brazil who promised to protect them. Brazil began to strike back at the Gulf Empire by first attacking San Diego in a surprise attack that left thousands dead. They also launched a massive air strike on Tucson and many major cities, even attempting a few amphibious invasions of the United States which failed. The attacks partially solidified the people support of Chancellor Holland and the Gulf army quickly invaded Ecuador, going on to capture Peru, Columbia, and Venezuela. By early 2011, Brazil ceased attacking the United States and focused its troops of defending South America.

War in the Pacific

In the Pacific Ocean, all that remained free from Gulf dominion was New Zealand, Australia, and a host of Pacific isles. When New Zealand and Australia were discovered sending aid to Brazil, the Gulf forces in Asia marched on them and blocked New Zealand and Australia in the sea and in the air. New Zealand and Australia both tried to break the blockades but the Gulf forces retailed by full-scale bombings, causing both nations to cease attack on Gulf forces and reserve their military strength for defense only. The rest of the Pacific islands, seeing their allies out of commission for battle, banded together and create the United Confederation of the Pacific Isles (UCPI) in December of 2011. The free African countries did the same and banded together to create the African Union for defense.

Modern Gulf Empire

By late 2011, the Gulf Empire had conquered every nation in South America except Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, and Brazil. In early 2012, Chile fell and the Gulf Empire took a short break from war to amass its weapons and prepare for battle. In mid 2012, with the creation of the World Assembly, the Gulf Empire began to stop its blockade on Australia and New Zealand and in September 5, 2012, the Gulf Empire allowed Australia and New Zealand to be free of the blockade on the promise that they could provide no aid to the UCPI. Both countries agreed and accepted the Gulf Empire into the World Assembly. In late 2012, the Gulf Empire moved its capital to Lima, Peru and began an invasion of Argentina that lasted all the way till October 17, 2013, when Argentina finally collapsed. The year of 2013 was also a large year for the Gulf Empire when the Gulfist Party was replaced by the new National Socialist-Democratic Alliance Party (NSDAP) by the order of the Chancellor. Currently, the Gulf Empire has become a leader in international political organizations but is also starting to reach a period of stagnation.
