The New American Homeland, commonly called New America or the Homeland and officially the Federal Republic of the New American Homeland is a country comprised of six states and a federal district, the District of New Washington and is situated in the southern region of Continental America. New America is Sjurdland's third most populous country after Haakonsson and Korgistan. Its territory makes up the former American states of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana and it borders the Unorganized Indian Lands to the west, Osawatomie to the north, the Borderlands Colony of Haakonsson, the Hostile Mississippi Territory to the east, Jehovah's Kingdom and various Mormon Colonies to its south in the Mexico Region. Its location in the south and on the Gulf of Mexico has awarded it geostrategic importance in Sjurdland and the world.

During The Great War many battles were fought killing millions of citizens within its borders particularly the Battle for Texas (2027-2034), which saw 12,000,000 to 17,000,000 deaths. Former United States Senator from Texas, Rafael "Ted" Cruz became a major figurehead in the aftermath of the Fall of the United States and was crucial in the Organization of the New American Homeland, then disputed land, which would then go on to become a recognized nation on July 4, 2043. The establishment of the New American Constitution was enacted on July 7 and voted unanimously in by the Senate. Ted Cruz ran unopposed and was elected by both the Popular Vote and the Electoral College to become the first elected President of the American Homeland, though he references himself as the 48th President of the United States America.

New America is a founder of the Nationalist Nations Trade Agreement, the American States Project, the Sjurdland Regional Commission, and also serves as the Security Officer in the Sjurdland Regional Assembly. It is a superpower in Sjurdland and its large reserves of fossil fuels exert considerable influence in international energy security and the world economy. Despite income and wealth disparities between the richest and poorest 10%, New America continues to rank extremely high in measures of socioeconomic performance, including its $78,273 average income which is the highest in Sjurdland, median income, median wealth, human development, per capita GDP, worker productivity and worker participation rate. The country's rich cultural legacy is reflected by its belief in Americanism which is responsible for its market based capitalist economy, social conservativism, and evangelical Protestantism.

New America is allied closely with Isabelle Plantations and Osawatomie and maintains strong partnerships with Korgistan and Haakonsson. Though not at war with any recognized nations, Articles of War have been declared against Islamists, "Rogue Mexicans", anti-American groups. A border wall along the Mexican Border was constructed under the President Trump era (2017-2025) and has been doubled in height by the New American Army Corps of Engineers. Races are segregated with non-whites (excludes White-Latinos) living in the "Southern Territory", they have no voting rights but are given $1,000 and a ride to the border gate if they would rather leave.
