The Republic of Xagrug (preferred name over the URA) is also known as the RoX, is located on the continent of Aurora. The Republic of Xagrug is a social democracy with a parliament running he affairs of the nation. The capital city of Xagrug is Imperium, which is where Parliament is housed along with the economic powerhouse of the nation. Xagrug is part of the South East Pacific Coalition Forces. The ecology of Xagrug is diverse, resulting in having boreal forests to dense rainforests. There are many national parks funded by the government and the highest point in Xagrug is Mt. Democracy which is 300 meters above sea level. Becoming a proper nation-state in 200 AD, the Republic of Xagrug is a world leader in education and industrial output. The Republic of Xagrug has universal healthcare and free college education. The income per capita is around $8,500 with very little difference between the rich and poor thanks to strict government regulations. Private enterprise is allowed albeit regulated and the media is protected by the right to free speech. The Republic of Xagrug is considered to be around a post-modern state technology wise.
