Kawther(Kawth'er / Kaothar) (Arabic: كوثر (Kowthar). ) Officially The United Democratic Republic of Kawther (Arabic: الجمهورية الديمقراطية الكوثرية or Al Jamhuriyah Al Democratiyah Al Kawtheriyah) Is a Nation and member state of the Region of United Empire of Islam, its located in southwestern Europe on the Iberian Peninsula, West of the Mediterranean Sea, West of the Alps Mountain Range and North of the Atlas Mountain Range

Kawther borders France to the North, and the Bay of Biscay and to the Northwest and West by the Atlantic Ocean and Spain Kawtherian territory also includes the Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean Sea, the Canary Islands in the Atlantic Ocean off the African coast, and two autonomous cities in North Africa, Ceuta and Melilla, that border Morocco Its neighbor across of the strait of Gibraltar to the South.

The nation is surrounded by Mountain ranges from the north and south by the Alps and Atlas Ranges With an area of 313,000 square kilometers (194,489.6 sq mi)

Kawther is a Democracy organised in the form of a Parliamentary government It is a developed country with the second largest economy in the Region of United Empire of Islam by nominal GDP, and very high living standards as of 1955. It is a member of the TCA, Saracen States Council. Their Iraqi Arab Heritage has been part of the tradition and culture of the country till this day sharing the exact Unique culture of Iraq and Arab Tradition.

Etymology

The Name Kawther came from the Quranic Verse of Surat al Kawther. Kawther is one of 4 rivers in Paradise

The 'United' Democratic Republic was added to the nations name from 1945 it was added because the nation had united under one flag and leadership for the first time after World War 2 when Kawther was in a state of division some provinces choosing to side with Nazi Germany and the other choosing to support their French neighbors.

The country was split in half, Southern Kawther send troops to aid Germany and ally up with North African Arab nations and the Middle East it was seen as the Arab thing to do as all the Arabs at first aided Germany.

This all changed when North Africa and the Middle Eastern countries choose to fight with the allies against Germany 5 year in to the war this forced the south to accept that they will have to support the national army by members of the Southern Army joining up

by the end of the war the country was seen to have united under one leadership and one flag for the first time since World War 1 this came at a time when Kawther became an Democratic Republic 5 years later the 'United' was added to the name in 1950 to create The United Democratic Republic of Kawther.

History

Modern humans first arrived in the Iberian peninsula around 35,000 years ago. It came under Roman rule around 200 BC, after which the region was named Hispaniola.

Kawtheria was formed by 1313 AC Kawtheria had its first capital built in the Island of Ibazia were people from Iraq have traveled to trade with The Muslim Andalusian Empire or What its now known as the old Spanish Lands of Spain and have turned the island into a new nation.

The traders however in there thousands decided to make a settlement of which the first Kawtherians were born and slowly they moved to build cities in mainland Andalusia.

The Capital Barcelona is were the King lived in his huge Mid-eval Palace. After years of war with the French and Spanish and Portuguese they had successfully gained a large kingdom starching from the South of France to the Moroccan border and all the way to Lisbon.

But Barcelona was a battered capital destroyed by the wars however the King ordered to Construct a new Beautiful city one were palm trees of Arabia grown on the beach with a state of the art Museums galleries and Huge and Wonderful Mosques Qutheria they named it. as the years went by the capital was made into a large metropolis named Quther United City and it is still a beautiful city and a world heritage site.

By this point the people of the country fared that the newly Southern Kawtherian Army could start attacking the Kawtherian National Army which numbered about a 1,300,000 and was fighting in 2 fronts one in Occupied France and Italy and the other in Spanish occupied lands.

or they could have easily created a coup and the Army wouldn't have had enough time to rescue the country however this didn't happen except some Militia in the south attacked Northern provinces to send a warning of stop supporting the allies.

This all changed when North Africa and the Middle Eastern countries choose to fight with the allies against Germany this forced the south to accept that they will have to support the national army by members of the Southern Army joining up

Kawther is Administrated by 25 Provinces Each Province has its own Capital and its own Council with in the Provincial Building

The Western Province is the largest Province with 200 million people living there it is the mostly deserted region and it is the least populated Province after the Capital Province which is the smallest province and has about 35 million people living there making it the least populated.

Each Province gets its salaries from the Government to pay for their citizens needs each Province is set a target and has to achieve this target using the Government money this could include lowering unemployment in the Province or for Infrastructural projects to stronger the Provinces economy.

In times of elections the Provinces are separated from each other to see which province choose which party as their favorite most Provinces councils will try and ask the people in the Province to elect the majority ruling party in the Province.

The Kawtherian parliament is made of 313 MPs each of the 25 provinces are represented by a minimum of 10 MPs.

Kawtheria Air (الخطوط الجوية الكوثرية) is the national carrier of Kawther and it is headquarter at The Quther United International Airport (QUIA) is one of the oldest airlines in Europe. Kawtheria Air operates domestic and regional service. Its main base is The Quther United International Airport (QUIA)

Kawtheria Air is operated by the Kawtherian Government since 1944 and flies to over 313 destinations around the world. Kawtheria Air also flies to all the Cities and Towns of Kawther which has helped the country connect its people by air.

Geography

Mainland Kawther is a mountainous country, dominated by high plateaus and mountain chains. After the Pyrenees, the main mountain ranges are the Cordillera Cantábrica, Sistema Ibérico, Sistema Central, Montes de Toledo, Sierra Morena and the Sistema Penibético whose highest peak, the 3,478 m high Mulhacén, located in Sierra Nevada, is the highest elevation in the Iberian peninsula, while the highest point in Kawther is the Teide, a 3,718 m high active volcano in the Canary Islands. The Meseta Central is a vast plateau in the heart of peninsular Kawther. There are several major rivers in Kawther such as the Tagus, the Ebro, the Duero, the Guadiana and the Guadalquivir. Alluvial plains are found along the coast, the largest of which is that of the Guadalquivir in Andalusia.

Climate

Three main climatic zones can be separated, according to geographical situation.

1.The Mediterranean climate, characterized by dry and warm summers. According to the Köppen climate classification, it is dominant in the peninsula, with two varieties: Csa and Csb. The Köppen-Geiger classification (Csb), extends to additional areas not typically associated with a typical Mediterranean climate, with a climate more extreme, hot in summer and cold in winter, such as much of central and northern-central of Kawther.

2.The semiarid climate (Bsh, Bsk), located in the southeastern quarter of the country, especially in the region of Murcia and in the Ebro valley. In contrast with the Mediterranean climate, the dry season extends beyond the summer.

3.The oceanic climate (Cfb), located in north quarter of the country, especially in the region of Basque Country, Asturias, Cantabria and partly Galicia. In contrary to the Mediterranean climate, winter and summer temperatures are influenced by the ocean, and have no seasonal drought.

Apart from these main types, other sub-types can be found, like the alpine climate in the Pyrenees and Sierra Nevada, and a typical subtropical climate in the Canary Islands.

The minorities here are hugely respected and racism is hardly known but there is a law that does not allow the building of temples which are not part of the Abrahamic religions (Islam, Christianity, Judaism).

People following Non Abrahimic Faiths are allowed to pray any were they want and do what ever their religion asks them to with out discrimination.
