Nicolas III (born 1 August 1983) is the King of Lysandus. He ascended to the throne on 1 November 2016 following the death of his mother, Queen Angélique. He born Prince of Comte in 1983 and as heir apparent to the throne, he worked to support humanitarian causes and to promote fellowship among the nations of the Old Holy Empire.
On 5 November 2015 Nicolas married Katherine of Jandira, as chosen by his grandfather. She is the daughter of Silvio Tigrssien, Emperor of Jandira, and the Duchess of Caninburg Marguerite Foxyen, also the grandfathers of Annelise, Empress of Jandira. There was a proxy ceremony at Tigresia, the capital of the Empire of Jandira, and another one at Part-au-Comte on 5 November.
