Otto, Prince von Ettingen und Steinbach (1869-1923) was a Braslander nobleman. He was the son of Prince Maximilian II von Ettingen und Steinbach.

In 1896 he married Princess Alexandra von Fürstenstein. They had seven children: Alexandrine (born 1897), Philippa (1898-1911), Nikolaus (born and died 1899), Theresia (born 1901), Dorothea (born 1904), Joseph (born 1906) and Oskar (born 1909).

The Prince wrote several novels, but he used the pseudonym Alastair McStein, as it was considered inappropriate for a man of his position to engage in such frivolous activities.

Otto died in 1923 after a riding accident.
