The Parliament of the United Federation of Prizyetsa (Parlamentä Sammle Federatjonä Prissetsa) commonly referred to as the Prizyetsi Parliament, is the supreme legislative body in The United Federation of Prizyetsa and it's territories. It forms the upper house of the bicameral legislative system together with the Prizyetsi National Council, which governs the Federation.

History
The parliament in it's current form was created in 1963 with the formation of the United Federation of Prizyetsa as a replacement for the People's Council of Prizyetsa, the single legislative body of the communist government of the United Socialist States of Prizyetsa. It was decided that the best way to represent the people was by a bicameral system of which the parliament would form the upper house.
In 1962 the first parliament was elected and met in the former assembly hall of the Workers Party of Prizyetsa, which had been closed after the fall of the communist government. The first official decision taken by the new government was the adoption of a new constitution, and the official creation of the United Federation of Prizyetsa. The constitution was formally adopted on the 4th of June, 1962 with a near-unanimous in favor.
The early years of the parliament were focused on cementing the union between the provinces and territories of the federation, and stabilizing a nation which had just ended the forty year rule of a totalitarian communist party which ruled the country with an iron fist. A plan was formed to overhaul education and teach the basics of democracy in order to ease the transition from socialism to democracy. The parliament had to keep a delicate balance between a new open market economy and the existing welfare state.
