Princess Margaretha of Brasland (1837-1913) was the daughter of King George II of Brasland and Princess Juliette Stuart.

In 1856 she married Count Franz von Urbach, the heir of one of Brasland's largest fortunes. Although the King and Queen would have preferred a royal husband for their daughter, they accepted Franz due to his family's high social standing and their fortune. The couple had seven children: Friedrich (born 1857), Juliette (born 1859), Marie Helene (born 1861), Otto (1862-1876), Alexander (born 1864), Pauline (1867-1871) and Philippa (born 1870).

Margaretha was a very regal woman with a strong personality, although considered somewhat arrogant. She was extremely active in society and was quite outspoken in her opinions.

The Urbachs divided their time between the social season in Markund, the winter at Schloss Niederurbach, the summers at Urbach Palace in Halvan and several other residences.

Princess Margaretha died in 1913.
