The RKM Fiedler is a Hornung-class battleship of the Rotgeheime Kriegsmarine that is famous for its participation in the 10 Days War. The ship is especially well-known for its actions during the engagement that came to be called the Destruction of the 7th Shock Fleet, in which it sunk the enemy flagship during the battle.

10 Days War

The RKM Fiedler was deployed as a part of the 1st Fleet during the conflict. Its task was to defend the aircraft carriers - which provided much of the air power over Hundermenschen during the war - and to engage enemy vessels if the need should arise. On 22 January 1913, the 1st Fleet accompanied by naval forces of The Goryevdre Islands encountered enemy ships of the 7th Shock Fleet of Volsvakia. Many Volsvakian ships were anchored at the time of the encounter, and the Rotgeheiman-Goryevdren ships was able to approach undetected. The RKM Fiedler immediately engaged Volsvakian ships. Bristling with weaponry, the Fiedler was easily able to sink all Volsvakian ships targeted. Among the kills racked up by the Fielder was the VNS Gegemoniya, the flagship of the Volsvakian 7th Shock Fleet. The Volsvakian Admiral in charge of the fleet, Yuri Verchenko (as well as much of his naval staff), went down with the ship and further crippled the enemy's ability to fight. The Fiedler continued engaging enemy vessels well into the early hours of 23 January, and joined the pursuit of Volsvakian vessels until the Volsvakian ability to fight completely diminished. Due to the actions of the RKM Fiedler and her fellow ships of the 1st Fleet, Volsvakia withdrew from the war.

Victories

This table classifies the ships destroyed by the RKM Fiedler based on ship type. Ship classes are also identified, but since some ship classes are unknown to Rotgeheiman forces, Rotgeheiman intelligence uses their own identification method for unknown classes. These identifiers for the unknown classes are in quotation marks. Ship names, the conflict in which the ship was sunk, and the date are also included.
