Economies in the region tend to be stronger than average. Inhabitants of the region ultimately pay most of their earnings to the government, as the median tax rate is 79%, or more! The economies of nations in the region tend to be heavily weighted towards the private sector, with on average 14% of the economy comprising the public sector. Commerce within the region is an irrelevant annoyance to governments.
000 values education extremely highly, and denizens compete for the largest number of university degrees and sprawling book collections.
