Throughout 00000 A World Power, traditions are kept strictly throughout the region, punishing upstarts and rabble-rousers harshly. Political freedoms are extended only to close friends and relatives of the leaders of the region's governments. Economies in the region tend to be stronger than average. Inhabitants rarely are visited by the tax collector, and the region boasts a paltry median tax rate of 6%. The economies of nations in the region tend to be dominated by the private sector, with on average only 6% of the economy comprising the public sector. Commerce is a priority for governments, accounting for an average of 3% of public expenditure.
In 00000 A World Power education, when conducted, is done with sticks and mud. The region is a lawless wasteland, nations regularly being the subject of documentaries by brave filmmakers. Governments make no provision for law and order.
