Alouisa is a minuscule region, inhabited by a few solitary nations and only 2 World Assembly Members.
In Alouisa, vacations are almost exclusively done in Sonnigeecke, as the rest of the region varies between xenophobic theocracies, and xenophobic corporatocracies. Political freedoms are held in high regard by a majority of nations, but the regional superpower (Gawdzendia) has them nearly stamped out. Economic activity is widespread, and the region boasts the strength of its Information Technology sector. Tax collection policies vary to the extreme from nation to nation, and the region boasts a median tax rate of 36%. The economies of nations in the region tend to be dominated by the private sector, with on average of only 24% of the economy comprising the public sector.
Denizens of Alouisa are highly educated, ranking within the top 10% of all regions for both Intelligence and Public Education. Crime - especially youth related - is nearly unknown throughout the region. Governments allocate a sufficient 10.8%, on average, of their budgets to law and order. Military power - and the use of WMDs - is present and encouraged within the region. Public transport is an afterthought, with only 5.8% of total government budgets in the region being devoted to it.
Governments in Alouisa find themselves in general control of their NationStates, with 7.4% on average of government budgets being devoted to Administration, with The Grand Corporatocracy of Gawdzendia spending none of its government budget on Administration due to the system in place. Some government provision is made for healthcare, with an average of only 12% across all nations. The United Kingdom of Sonnigeecke is the only nation in the region with complete nationalized healthcare. Welfare in the region is minimal, with only an average of 4.4% of expenditure being devoted to spending on social security, with Gawdzendia providing no social security to its citizens at all. Spirituality is not a priority at all for the majority of nations, with The Allied States of Philipstadt being the only nation to have a budget for it (at 4.6%).
Social inequality is an issue in some nations. The Environments throughout the region are kept in good shape, although some nations have friendlier eco-policies than others.
