Education is a priority for governments throughout Southern Malibu Islands, with ample funding being provided and teachers enjoying a great deal of support. There is a very high level of crime within the region and law enforcement resources are stretched thin. Denizens have very well-funded, well equipped defense forces. Public transport is a popular mode of transport in the region, receiving on average of 15% of total government budgets.

The administration departments of Southern Malibu Islands are all-consuming, soaking up budgets in aid of supporting a bureaucracy of millions, with an average of 14% of government budgets being devoted to Administration.
