Rhoden is a Brittan musical duo consisting of musicians and singer-songwriters Daniel Rhoden (born January 26, 1994) and girlfriend Ariana DeSille (born October 20, 1994). The couple was signed to Little Town Records in late 2013 while sophomores at the Oxford University of the Performing Arts campus in Louisville, Hyder, Renee Brittani.
Artistry
Say that their musical style is a fusion of indie rock, folk rock and blues, both Daniel and Ariana play multiple instruments in addition to vocals. Daniel plays the drums and piano while Ariana is skilled at the piano, guitar and bass. Their debut single "Night Time Groove" is an uptempo funk track while their second single "Road to Heaven" is a lyrically deep rock and blues song. The couple has said that their first album will consist of a wide variety of styles and genres including funk, hard rock, soft rock, blues, soul and folk rock with some country and hip-hop influences.
