Rudolf von Kerlich

Rudolf, Duke von Kerlich (1730-1777) was a Braslander nobleman. He was the son of Duke Carl IV von Kerlich.

In 1756 he married his first cousin, Princess Maria of Brasland. It was a political match designed to keep the House of Kerlich under the Crown's sphere of influence They had eleven children: Alfred (born 1757), Marie Therese (born 1758), Caroline (born and died 1759), Johannes (born 1761; priest), Caroline (born 1763; nun), Elisabeth (born 1765; unmarried), Paul (born 1766), Viktoria (born 1768), Magdalene (born 1771), Sibylle (born and died 1773) and Franz de Paula (born 1775).
