Setzna-Ancrad War

The Setznan Special Operations Command is in charge of running all of the Special Forces groups in the Setznan Self Defense Force. It is comprised of units from each branch of the SDF and is based in JFC Arcadia.

Special Operations Command, Ground Forces
The ground forces sector of the Setznan Special Operations Command is made up of the SGSDF's special forces units.
505th Special Forces Group
The 505th SFG is one of the main special forces units belonging to the SGSDF, specializing in unconventional warfare, special reconnaissance, direct action, and counter-terrorism. They work closely with the National Intelligence Agency and the Office of Strategic Services. Many of the members of the 505th are seasoned, experienced veterans from the Second Setznan Civil War and the SEPCF-FPA conflict. Operators in the 505th SFG are usually handpicked, candidates are plucked straight from either the 79th Ranger Battalion or the 1st Airborne Brigade and are sent through a lengthy course to be able to enter the ranks of the SFG. Candidates are also drawn from regular forces, though these candidates must go through ranger qualification first before entering the Special Forces Qualification Course.
79th Ranger Regiment
The 79th, commonly known as the "Bulldogs of the Ground Forces" or more simply "Rangers", are one of the SGSDF's special forces units. They specialize in reconnaissance, air assault, and direct action. The 79th Rangers also serve as one of the Ground Self Defense Force's quick response units alongside the 5th Airborne Brigade. Many soldiers who attend Ranger School come straight from basic training, where they are put into a combat-focused environment at Fort Williams. Rangers are expected to be skilled, proficient, and ready at all times for any situation thrown at them.
1st Airborne Brigade
The Brigade, known as "The Matchless Elite" which is also one of their mottos, serves as Setzna's elite airborne and quick response unit, specializing in air assault, direct action, unconventional warfare, and reconnaissance. They are officially apart of the 22nd Airborne Division but are considered as a standalone Brigade, separate from the rest of the division due to their role as special forces. Paratroopers of the 1st Airborne Brigade have served from the Ancradian Islands to the gulf of Gondwana and abroad. Recruits usually come straight from basic training or are already active duty. Every paratrooper in 1AB is ranger qualified by the end of their training.
1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th Alpenjager Korps
The Alpenjager Korps (Literally translated to Alpine Hunter Corps) are the dedicated mountain troops of the Ground Self Defense Force, specializing in unconventional warfare, mountainous and rough terrain warfare, and special reconnaissance. Like 1AB, Alpenjagers have full on offensive capabilities, not limited by counter-terrorism or defense of the homeland. They are the Ground Defense Forces go to quick response force for situations that involve rough, hilly terrain to the steep snowy mountains. The Alpenjager are known for their ability to quickly strike an enemy and their elaborate ambushes, utilizing guerrilla and unconventional warfare to their advantage. Jagers in the Alpenjager Korps are usually regular troops with mountain warfare training, something unique to only the Alpenjager in the ground forces sector of SSOC. Jagers also attend a short training period at Ranger School to learn essential skills not taught at the Mountain Warfare Center, Kagoshima Training Base.
The naval sector of the Setznan Special Operations Comand is made up of the JMSDF's special forces units. These units usually specialize in amphibious warfare.
