The Staynish Premier League is a Staynish professional league for men's association football clubs. At the top of the Staynish football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. Contested by 20 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Staynish Football League. Horales clubs that compete in the Staynish football league system can also qualify.

The Premier League is a corporation in which the 20 member clubs act as shareholders. Seasons run from August to May. Teams play 38 matches each (playing each team in the league twice, home and away), totalling 380 matches in the season. Most games are played on Saturday and Sunday afternoons; others during weekday evenings. It is colloquially known as the Premiership and outside of Staynes it is commonly referred to as the Staynish Premier League (SPL).

The competition was formed on the 12th of March 1976 following the start of Staynish football. After the Auroran Imperial War concluded, over 70% of the teams in all Morstaybishlian competitions had been allocated into different nations leagues which forced the old system to be rewritten.

The Staynish Premier League is the most-watched sports league in the world, with an potential TV audience of 3.2 billion people. In the 2014–15 season, the average Staynish Premier League match attendance exceeded 44,600. Most stadium occupancies are near capacity.

While 86 clubs have competed since the inception of the Premier League in 1976, only eight have won the title: Bursil F.C. (11), Celidizia F.C., Jubrayn F.C., Redrugus F.C., Ejard United F.C., Fruntham F.C., Yatal F.C. and Ferya United F.C.. The current champions are Celidizia, who secured the 2016–17 title in early May 2017.
