The Republic of Striorca (Portuguese:República de Striorca) is an island nation in the South Pacific. The country is a constitutional republic with current president Estevão Souza taking office in June 2012. The population is as of 2015; 281,300.

History

The country gained independence in 1975, two years later an attempted coup was stopped with the help of a force of Narsoran troops and peace agreement was signed in August 1977.

Government

Striorca is a constitutional republic; the Striorcan Constitution being written in 1974. The government is divided into three main branches; Executive, Judicial and Legislative.

Military

The defense of Striorca is the responsibility of the Striorcan Defense Force, which number around 1,200. The country also has a defense agreement with Narsora.

Economy

Striorca has a high-income economy with a GDP of around $54.8 billion, and a GDP per capita of around $22,700.

Geography

Striorca is located 700 miles off the northeastern coast of the country of Narsora.

The police force of Striorca are the Striorca Police Force.
