The Summer Palace is the King of Brasland's official residence in the city of Halvan.

The palace was built between 1725 and 1740 as a residence for Crown Prince Frederick. The prince succeeded to the throne before the palace was finished, so it was decided that the new residence will be the sovereign's summer residence. Frederick rarely used it, as state affairs forced him to remain in Markund, but some of his descendants were quite fond of the palace and spent long periods there. King Frederick III visited it several times, as did George I, Frederick IV and Frederick V. Successive kings used the palace as their residence when in town, keeping it as a link between the Crown and the people of Arenland.

After the fall of the monarchy and the rise of Olav Palmerson to the presidential office of the short-lived Republic of Brasland, the capital was moved to Halvan (Palmerson's hometown) and the palace became the president's home, and was renamed 'the Presidential Palace'. When Palmerson was deposed and the monarchy restored, the palace returned to its old name and has been again used by King George IV whenever he is in Halvan.
