The SuperLiga is Pasarga’s top division of association football. Run by the SuperLiga Organization Committee, an entity affiliated to the Pasargan Footballing Association, it contains twenty clubs from across the country, and maintains a system of promotion and relegation of three a year between it and the SuperLiga 2, Pasarga’s second division.
The season runs from August to May, during which time 38 matches are played per team, totalling 380 matches overall. The vast majority of matches are played on weekends, with some on Friday nights, with a round of matches also taking place on New Years Day. It is broadcast on PNT, NWRTV, and other regional stations.
