The first Olympiad of The Union Of Confederate Regions is The first Olympic Games being held in the Region of The UCR and the first regional olympics ever. This games will be a summer games including 28 sports. 147 events in them. These gamee will be held in Dopirtedas City in Britonisea and it starts at 19:30 BST on August 31st and finishes at 00:00 on September 11. (September 10th 23:59). This will leave a great legacy. This will happen during the Olympic Games which is a bigger tournament.

Bid to Host

Britonisea, as the sportiest nation in The Union of Confederate Regions, set up this. The Regional Olympic HQ is in Britonisea. So Doportedas decided to host the first Olynpic Games of The UCR. The rest of the region agreed so it was final.

Build up and Controversies

Lots of nations liked the idea of an Olympic Games and Britonisea was sure that 15 nations was to sign up. But 24 hours until the sign ups are closed for The Games, only 4 nations signed up and 680 entrances signed up. Langor Empire, The Grand British Kingdom, Great Zlin and The Ranponian will be in the Olympic Ceremony which includes speeches from most of The Nations in the Region. And a delightful performance in Britonisea. During the Olympic Games, The Ranponian was found out to be going under a phoney name and was run by an anti-Union Councilor. The Ranponian was therefore stripped of it's medals but Britonish sporting officials refused to re do the events as these events already started work to improve the stadium. Also of 147 medal events, 20 events were cancelled due to no one signing up and due to slippery Athletic Events.

Opening Ceremony and Torch Relay

The torch Relay will last 38 days. The Opening Ceremony will take place in Doportedas Olympic Park, In the Olympic Stadium. It will be about 4 hours long. Dendart's Minister didn't show up at the Opening Ceremony and therefore Britonisea had to fork out a few more thousand to organise a temporary entertainment to fill up the gaps. 74,000 people took there seats to witness a firework fiesta! At the end, Fireworks went of around Britonisea and Doportedas itself.

Highlights of the Games

The hosts was in the lead quite swiftly but then got over taken by Langor Empire.

The Closing Ceremony

The Ceremony took place in the Lukas Brito Stadium on 8pm, 10th September 2014. The ceremony went on for about an hour and the final medal table was shone in the sky by smoke effects.

Effects on what the games had for Britonisea and The Union of Confederate Regions

This has had many effects on the people of The Union. Firstly, our population has almost tripled which means there are going to be more athletes. It has also started the start of The Football Cup.

For the future

Though this was between only 4 nations, it sparked a regional (if not international) phenomenon where this inspires other nations to step ahead. Hoystein rumors say that they are planning to bid for The First World Cup of The Union of Confederate Regions.
