The party known as The Republic (Darkmanian: Dë Rëpubëk) is a right-wing political party in Darkmania, split from Conservatives on 18 June 2005 as Jän Ysträm called the Conservatives a party "who have lost their core message with the people", as well as having a party who was positive toward the Regime. It is the most successful right-populist party in Darkmania, earning 5 seats in 2016. The party has been lead by Jän Ysträm since the beginning. The party are largely controversial in Darkmania due to their policies and proposals, one in 2018 which included a "Final solution for all Muslims within Darkmania`s borders".

Ideology
The party is the main right-wing populist party with a strong presence of anti-Islam in it. In 2016, doing a speech in Urgämul, Ystärm referred to Islam as "not a religion, but as a terrorist ideology in line with Naziism". This sparked a mass-condemnation toward the party, resulting in that they lost the first round by far, only getting a 10th in the first round and later only 5 out of 599 seats. Ysträm latter called the media for "the thing that keeps lying to make fun of us!".
The Rainbow is considered the arch-rival in Darkmanian politics as it often can spiral out of control when both parties are present in demonstrations. It got so intense that in 2018, it caused damages for over 10 million darkmanian danks. In March 2019 both parties signed "a peace treaty" to cool down the rioting when both parties are presents in any situations.
63,2% of all supporters of The Republic identify themselves as males. This is largely due to the open sexism in the party. In a comment regarding the matter, Ysträm said "We can say whatever we want. Sure, its a bit over the edge sometimes. But we live in a free country with freedom of speech."
