The Torisakia League of Legends Championship Series (TOR LCS) is the name of the professional League of Legends eSports league run by BlueBeach Electronics. Each season is divided into two splits, Spring and Summer, and consists of a nine-week double round robin between ten teams, concluding with a six team playoff. At the end of the season, the two highest placing teams in terms of Championship Points qualify for the League of Legends World Championships.

The TOR LCS is the highest governing body of professional League of Legends in Torisakia. The TOR LCS has a relegation and promotion system used to rotate the bottom teams in the league with the top teams in the Torisakia League of Legends Challenger Series (TOR CS). The TOR CS is composed of eight teams: three teams that were knocked out of the promotion tournament or TOR LCS teams that were relegated, three teams who lost in last split's playoffs, and the top two teams from the ranked ladder play on the public Torisakia League of Legends server.

Format

Regular Season

  • Double Round Robin (9 weeks)
  • Placing results
    • The top 6 teams will advance to the playoffs
    • 1st place and 2nd place will secure first round BYEs in the playoffs
    • 4th place will play 6th and 3rd place will play 5th in the playoff quarterfinals
    • 7th place will secure a spot in the next split.
    • 8th place and 9th place will play the 2nd and 3rd place Challenger Series teams respectively in a promotion tournament. The two winners of each series will secure an LCS spot.
    • 10th place is automatically relegated to the Challenger Series, and the 1st place Challenger Series team will automatically be promoted to the LCS.

Playoffs

  • Single elimination
  • All matches are best-of-5 (except the Championship which is best-of-7)

Championship Points

  • 1st place team of the Summer Split automatically qualifies for the Worlds championship as the first seed from the region.
  • Team with the most Championship Points (summed between both splits) will qualify as the second seed.
  • If teams are tied in Championship Points for second seed, head-to-head record determines the tiebreaker. If teams are still tied, a coin flip is used.
