Format
Regular Season
- Double Round Robin (14 weeks)
- Placing results
- The top 6 teams will advance to the playoffs
- 1st place and 2nd place will secure first round BYEs in the playoffs
- 4th place will play 6th and 3rd place will play 5th in the playoff quarterfinals
- 7th place will play 8th in a best-of-3 series to determine which is up for relegation to the Challenger series.
- The team that won the best-of-3 will play the champion of the Challenger series. If the best-of-3 winner wins, they will remain in the LCS. If the Challenger champion wins, they are promoted to the LCS and the loser is demoted to the Challenger series.
Playoffs
- Single elimination
- All matches are best-of-5 (except the Championship which is best-of-7)
Championship Points
- 1st place team of the Summer Split automatically qualifies for the Worlds championship as the first seed from the region
- Team with the most Championship Points will qualify as the second seed.
- If teams are tied in Championship Points for second seed, the team's points from the Spring Split and Summer Split are combined and the team with the most will hold the tiebreaker. If teams are still tied, a coin flip is used to determine the tiebreaker.
