Torisakia Soccer League 2015

The Torisakia Soccer League (Torisakia Rocces Eeagul in Native Torisakian) is Torisakia's top division of association football. The league contains 24 teams from around the country, most of which have been around since the formation of the league in 1912. Despite being the top division, the league does not maintain a promotion-relegation system as most teams that switch divisions do so based on financial standards rather than season-based preformance.

Usually, the season starts one week before the first Friday of the new year (i.e The 2014 season started on December 27, 2013, one week before January 3, 2014); however, due to recent constraints, the 2015 season and onwards will start on the third Friday of January. The season usually ends in mid-June, with each team playing 24 matches each weekend (sometimes weekdays) and playing in a 24-team single elimination playoff to determine a champion. Traditionally, the championship game (dubbed the "Megabowl") is played on July 11th, which is known as Freedom Day.

The most recent champions are the Tokai Ice Birds, located in the capital city of Tokai. In 2014, they defeated common foe Auerila Extreme four games to one in a best-of-7 series. It was their 8th title overall and their 6th straigth appearence in the Megabowl, winning three out of the six.
