The 'Union Settlement Command' born in 2178 during the reformation of the Veridian Union. No longer burdened by it's restraints to Urth, the Union Settlement Command was created. An attempt to forge a new future amongst the stars and to achieve supremacy in science, military, and culture.

The Union controls seven solar systems.
Crux System
The primary solar system which the USC rules from. It is host to twelve planetary bodies, nineteen moons, and two asteroid belts.
Aripho
Considered the newfound homeworld, it is the most prized possession in the Union.
Fiero
A moon orbiting Aripho, it was the first temporary home for the Veridian Union. It's grey exterior and rocky surfaces is populated by stations and space elevators.
Klendathu
Klendathu is the second ellipsoidal moon from Turnada. Frequently described as a planet-like moon, Titan is 50% larger than Fiero, and it is 80% more massive. It is the second-largest moon in the Crux System, after Turnada's moon Bolano, and is larger than the smallest planet, Heves, but only 40% as massive.
Geography
Klendathu is primarily composed of water, ice, and rocky material. The dense opaque atmosphere hides liquid hydrocarbon lakes in Klendathu's polar regions. The geologically young surface is generally smooth, with few impact craters, although mountains and several possible cryovolcanoes have been found.
The atmosphere of Klendathu is largely nitrogen; minor components lead to the formation of methane and ethane clouds and nitrogen-rich organic smog. The climate—including wind and rain—creates surface features similar to those of Aripho or Urth, such as dunes, rivers, lakes, seas of liquid methane and ethane, and deltas, and is dominated by seasonal weather patterns as on Urth. With its liquids (both surface and subsurface) and robust nitrogen atmosphere.
History
The Union Settlement Command had plans to establish a massive mining facility on Klendathu since the late 2100s. However, the establishment of such was never achieved until 2237. In 2268, the Oiltown Space Elevator was completed. It provided the easiest method of transporting the resources of Klendathu up into the Space Elevator's port. As a result, the resources have been more plentiful at a lower cost.
Rich in nitrogen and various gases, it serves as the USC's personal gas station. It fuels all of the Union's needs and aspirations from spaceships to generators and vehicles.
