==Overview==
The Vendetta Class Super Dreadnaught is the first vessel of its kind, and also the largest vessel in California's Imperial Navy. Dwarfing the nation's second largest vessel the CIS Vengeful Phoenix by 666 ft (203 m) these ships were built to deliver one hell of a hit in a short timeframe.

The Vanguard-class is a class of nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarines (SSBN) in service with the Californian Imperial Navy. Each submarine is armed with 40 Sea Sentinel missiles. The class was introduced in 2273 as part of the Californian Empire government's Sea Sentinel nuclear weapons program. The class includes twelve boats: Vanguard, Vengeance, Victory, Viking, Vaunted, Vindictive, Volturnus, Venerator, Vixen, Viperine, Venomous and Venus. They were built at Long Beach by United Naval Ship Yards between 2269 and 2280.

This latest vessel, christened the Vendetta Class, California's largest Super Dreadnaught class, was approved for construction and on December 15, 2259 construction began. Construction was completed on November 19, 2272 at the United Naval Shipyards of California at Long Beach, California, Californian Empire. After sea trials, the ship was put into service in the Californian Imperial Navy's Pacific Fleet on July 3, 2273.
