Volkia (Volkian: Волкия), officially the Federal Lupine Republic (Volkian: Федеральная Люпинская Республика), is a country situated on the western part of the continent of Itur. Lying between the Mahigan Sea and Iturian Sea to the west and the Gulf of Itur to the south, it borders South Hills to the east.
Volkia includes 16 constituent states that span across an area of 539,268 square miles (1,396,700 sq km) with a largely boreal climate. The northern parts of the country show characteristics of hemiboreal, boreal, and tundra climate. Nearly 76 million inhabitants call Volkia home, with large concentrations of population in the southern areas of the country.
It is a federal presidential constitutional republic, comprising of 15 provinces and one federal territory with a population of approximately 75.5 million as of 2018. Volkia borders South Hills to the northeast. It is renowned across the region for being the homeland of the lupines, a wolf-like species that make up roughly 99% of the total population.
