The World Hit Festival 53 will be the 53rd edition of the senior World Hit Festival and the 60th edition of the World Hit Festival. The contest will be held in Bovingdon, Britonisea on the 22nd August 2020, following ELIANA's win at the 52nd World Hit Festival in Monterra, Kalosia with the song "Tongue-Tied". This will be Kalosia's first hosting of the contest in 4 editions since they hosted the World Hit Festival 49 in the city of Alshkan along with Estogium. Britonisea is set to host for the 7th time.
