Yuri Verchenko (died on 22 January 1913) was Volsvakian Admiral serving as the commander of the 7th Shock Fleet. He commanded the formation during the 10 Days War, when Volsvakia declared war on Hundermenschen in order to assist its ally, Porant. Verchenko was killed in action during the battle which resulted in the Destruction of the 7th Shock Fleet, when the flagship of the fleet, the VNS Gegemoniya, was sank by Rotgeheime Kriegsmarine and Goryevdren naval vessels. It is widely accepted that a final shot from one of the 16 inch guns of the the RKM Schneider caused the sinking, therefore making the crew of that ship indirectly responsible for the death of Verchenko.
Not much else is known about him other than what was collected from a small assortment of intelligence gathered by Rotgeheim during the war. The collapse of the government of Volsvakia has since ensured that no more information will be collected.
