Zeměia officially The Democratic Republic of Zeměia is a landlocked nation.

History

Zeměia was known as the Kingdom Of Zeměia or "Kingdom of the Earth" from 1650 to July 28, 1967. In it's 16th-19th century span it was known as a quite prosperous nation in the early-20th century however, a decline in the world economy caused the country to slip into economic decline. On July 28, 1967 General Srećko Vincenc Vlahovic seized power in a bloodless coup after arresting former President Malkhaz Avksenti and assuming office. On December 2, 2014, soldiers from the then Crveninyan People's Army arrested Vlahovic in a bloodless coup that became known as the "Green Revolution". Incumbent President Dimitrije Boban Nováček assumed office in January 2015.

Zeměia is a landlocked nation made mostly up of forests and rugged mountains.

Politics

Zeměia as the communist state of Crveninya was long accused of systematic human rights abuses and political repression and no elections had been held from 1967 to 2014. With the formation of new government, the country is attempting to become a democratic society. The parliament is known as the Parliament.
