The IX VS-Fliegerkorps is a corps-sized parachute infantry formation of the Verteidigungsstaffel. The formation is made up of three airborne divisions which number around 50,000 troops in total. The headquarters is located in Pommern, Rotgeheim, and it is commanded by Generalleutnant Reinhard Schultheiss.
