United Celtic Nations is a minuscule region, inhabited by a few solitary nations.
The straight-backed, broad-smiling populace of United Celtic Nations eagerly dismissed concerns of oppression. Nations in the region are considered developing democracies, with some political freedoms afforded to denizens. The economy of the region is remarkably unremarkable, with members being neither powerhouses nor basket cases. Inhabitants of the region ultimately pay most of their earnings to the government, as the median tax rate is 92%, or more! The economies of nations in the region tend to be heavily weighted towards the private sector, with on average 11% of the economy comprising the public sector. Commerce within the region is an irrelevant annoyance to governments.
Denizens of the United Celtic Nations are poorly educated, with rampant illiteracy. There is a very high level of crime within the region and law enforcement resources are stretched thin. Nations within the region are forced to use soft fruit and harsh language in the field of battle, with no government funds being set aside for defense. Public transport is an afterthought, with only 1% of total government budgets in the region being devoted to it.
Nobody really knows about the state of administration in United Celtic Nations. Observers asked for information, but found nobody was available to take calls. Hospital patients are given credit checks upon passing through emergency rooms, as no government provision is made for healthcare in the region. Welfare in the region is minimal, with only a small amount of expenditure being devoted to spending on social security. Governments in the region are avowedly atheist - no public funds are allocated to spirituality.
In United Celtic Nations, denizens benefit from a good balance of social equality and motivation for advancement, although aspiration is the priority. Environments within the region are very good, with a healthy balance of denizen's activity and regard for protection of nature.
