Alberta is a small region, sparsely populated by only 8 nations and only 3 World Assembly Members.
The straight-backed, broad-smiling populace of Alberta eagerly dismissed concerns of oppression. Nations in the region are considered developing democracies, with some political freedoms afforded to denizens. Economies in the region tend to be stronger than average. Denizens tend to pay their taxes quickly and quietly, with a median tax rate of 10%. The economies of nations in the region tend to be heavily weighted towards the private sector, with on average 11% of the economy comprising the public sector. Commerce is a priority for governments, accounting for an average of 5% of public expenditure.
Alberta does not prioritize education in any meaningful way. Criminality is rife within the region, with law enforcement struggling to cope. Governments allocate a meagre 1%, on average, of their budgets to law and order. Denizens have well-funded defense forces. Due to the lack of any Public transport, streets are packed with cars, bikes, and assorted noisy vehicles.
Governments in Alberta communicate very well amongst themselves, with administration departments working smoothly, with 2% on average of government budgets being devoted to Administration. Some government provision is made for healthcare, but at an average of only 3% the provision for healthcare in the region is paltry. Welfare in the region is minimal, with only a small amount of expenditure being devoted to spending on social security. Governments in the region are avowedly atheist - no public funds are allocated to spirituality.
Social inequality is rife amongst the nations within Alberta. The environments of the nations in the region are almost universally appalling.
