Peter Alexander Zacharias Bethmann (30 November 1890 – 14 May 1916) was a Rotgeheiman soldier in the Verteidigungsstaffel. He is best known for his actions during the Northern Territory War with Sebastian Scheffler. During the conflict, he and Scheffler both distinguished themselves in combat and were heavily decorated. He also participated in the Invasion of Scheinfeld, during which he was killed in action during an alleged blue on blue incident.
