The Kingdom of Asendavia, also known simply as Asendavia, is a feudal monarchy located in Northeast Yasteria. Asendavia is composed of many lords who have limited autonomy to do their things in their lands. Asendavia is bordered by Reziel to the northwest and Kelssek to the southwest. Large amounts of it's population lives in the cities, but large amounts of the people also live in the country side. Asendavia altogether has a population of about 121,400,000 people altogether. Most of the populace is poor, with a GDP per capita of about ⚵15,318.68.

Asendavia is perhaps one of the oldest nations in the world, being at most 7010 years old. The Harstad dynasty has always ruled Asendavia. Asendavia's first King was Adelar Harstad, who was said to be a great man and reigned around 7010 years ago. The islands to the northwest of Asendavia were originally colonized in an attempt to gain more resources, this process also killed the natives. While Asendavia has faced rebellion in the past, none were large enough to overthrow the Harstads. On December 19th, 6997 A.A, Asendavia sent a fleet out to sea to colonize the islands directly to its east and land in Northwest Gondwana.

Asendavia is currently a member of the Fire Pact.

Asendavian Military

The Asendavian Military, currently headed by Ivan Harstad, has been the military of Asendavia throughout its whole history. While it may have not seen as many foreign battles and wars, they have seen many internal ones. The most recent use of the Asendavian Military was in the war between the SEPC and the Fire Pact, although only the Air Force and the Navy truly had any action in it. The Military is centered in Fort Harstad, which is right next to Stromharad and is the largest fort in Asendavia. The Military has three main branches:

• The Asendavian Army
• The Asendavian Fleet
• The Asendavian Air Force

Government

The government is headed by the King. There is also a group known as the Jade Synod, which advises the King. While lords may make whatever laws, taxes, and the such that they want, the King may force them to change it. The laws and taxes that the King makes are to be followed throughout the Kingdom.

The Jade Synod

The Jade Synod, as mentioned earlier, is a group which advises the King. The Jade Synod is made up of 10 members and the King. The position is hereditary and only the original 11 dynasties may hold a position on it. The Jade Synod can only advise however, they can't make laws and other things as parliaments and the such do in other nations.

The Jade Nudo

The Jade Nudo is the currency of Gliat Shea and Asendavia. The Jade Nudo originally dates back to Gliat Shea. During Gliat Shea's beginnings, it was just called the Nudo. The jade part of the name was added later when jade was added in small amounts into the coins. Jade was later removed from the coins in an effort to save the jade for better purposes such as trade. The name still stuck however. The symbol for the Jade Nudo is ⚵.

There are 10 values that are still used as opposed to the original 13.

History

Old Asendavia

Not much is known about the area of Asendavia before the Asendavians came to it. Very few artifacts and no structures have been found. Therefore, it is safe to assume the area could have been populated by nomadic peoples. Skeletons have been found as well, suggesting the theory that nomadic people inhabited the area, as that would also explain why they left no structures behind. It is thought that the nomadic people of Old Asendavia could have lived there up to 100 years before the founders of Asendavia came along. It is thought that they all died out by the time the founders came to Asendavia though. Next to nothing is known about these people.

Formation of Asendavia

The original founders of Asendavia are said to have come from Gliat Shea. Documents from both nations support this idea. Historical documents also say that 11 dynasties were banished from Gliat Shea and that they headed towards the east. In 13 B.A, it is said that the 11 dynasties came to the site of what would now become Stromharad. They chose the greatest of the 11 dynasties, the Harstads, to become their new kings. It is unknown how long it took for Stromharad to be built however. Within a thousand years, Asendavia had conquered almost all of the land it has now. Around 1078 A.A, Asendavia stopped expanding and started to isolate itself. Not much is exactly for around 3000 years as Asendavia severely isolated itself. Around 4073 A.A, Asendavia ended their period of isolation.

Modern-Day Asendavia

Much of the information about Asendavia that is available came from this period of time. There is a full list of Asendavian monarchs from their formation to now. Most of Asendavian technology and religiousness came from this period, as many Kings were staunch supporters of religion and the sciences. The arts also greatly excelled, though much isn't known as of now in that area. Asendavia still kept an air of isolationism around them for about 2870 years. Finally, in around 6943, Asendavia started to engage in world politics. One of Asendavia's better known involvement in conflicts was its involvement in the Four Days War, in which he set a fleet towards the Tretridian city of Draeset, not realizing it wasn't coastal because of a logistical error.
