The Fortunan Armed Forces is the armed forces of the Three States of Fortuna, and consists of the Fortunan Army, Navy, and Air Force. The Regulatori is also considered a part of the Fortunan Armed Forces and acts as the police force within the nation and may participate in military combat if found necessary. These four forces combined make up the majority of the military in Fortuna, and consist of around 1,240,000 active personnel and 6,130,000 in reserve or fit for combat, making Fortuna one of Urth's most militarized states. Fortuna requires for it's citizens to serve in the military starting at the age of 17, with men required to serve up to 36 months and women required to serve up to 30 months. The Fortuna Military Council, led by the current Commander, heads the Fortunan Armed Forces. However, High Commander still have absolute power over the council. The Fortunan Armed Forces military budget consists of 10% of Fortuna's national GDP, around $18.458 billion. Even with the high spending, Fortuna's armed forces is still considered outdated and lacks behind other nations.
Branches
Army
The Fortunan Navy is Fortuna's main priority as it is the first line of defense and protection of international shipping lanes.
The surface fleet for the Navy is split into three separate fleets: the Emili Fleet (1st Fleet), the Toscani Fleet (2nd Fleet), and the Ancona Fleet (3rd Fleet). The surface fleet consists of three amphibious assault ships (three Cecilia-Class Amphibious Assault Ships), four amphibious transport docks (four Claudia-Class Amphibious Transport Docks), twenty two frigates (ten Flavia-Class Figate, eight Fiona-Class Frigate, and four Faustine-Class Frigate), and twenty seven destroyers (fourteen Diana-Class Destroyers, ten Dolphina-Class Destroyers, and three Domina-Class Destroyers).
Submarines have been a new addition to the Navy, currently operating six Jutta-Class Submarines since 2006 with six more planned.
The Navy also employs four Rissa-Class Replenishment Ships, one Sibyl-Class Surveillance Ship, and two Sibena-Class Research Vessels which serve as the Navy's auxiliary and support vessels.
To protect and regulate Fortunan waters and coast line, the Navy operates forty Marsala-Class Patrol Boats.

Air Force
The Fortunan Air Force is Fortuna's aerial and smallest military branch.
The FAF currently operates three types of aircraft as their fighters. The FAF's primary fighter is the E-A Aletta with the FSED Adreana being introduced as it's successor.
For transport aircraft, the FAF operates two types of aircraft with each serving specific roles. The E-A Angela primary purpose is to serve as Fortuna's main tactical airlifter, three of which were fitted for aerial refueling. The FSED Aria serves as the secondary transport.
The primary helicopters that the FAF uses is the E-A Helena and the E-A Hilaria, both serving as SAR and utility transport. Recently the FAF introduced the FSED Hadria which is to be the replacement for the E-A Helena.
Currently only rotary craft are used in the navy. The three crafts include the FSED Hadria, the FSED Horace, and the E-A Henrietta.
Regulatori
The Regulatori is the fourth branch of the Fortunan Armed Forces, but rarely serves in military operations. The main role of the Regulatori is to act as the law enforcement for Fortuna and personal guards of government officials.
