The Peaceful Coffee Shop In Chicago is a medium-sized region, inhabited by sixty nations.
Overview: In The Peaceful Coffee Shop In Chicago, customers engage in low level role-play and order drinks and food. Recently they added a 'Game Corner outlining games to play on the RMB varying from blackjack to Russian Roulette'. A menu is available that customers can order from. Role-play is carried out over the Coffee Shop's regional message board, so only nations in the Coffee Shop or nations in regions that have embassy with the Coffee Shop can participate. The RMB is also very heavily used for chat purpose. The Grand Puffle Republic and Imelash are 'baristas' and take orders. The Grand Puffle Republic is the main bartender and takes care of the majority of customers coming through. The Seal of Approval and Imelash are delegate and co-delegate after Fresh Prince of Bel-Air was impeached. When Imelash, the delegate, rose to power, he irrationally decided to strip Fresh Prince of Bel-Air of his power and decided to ban him. Fresh Prince of Bel-Air decided to move to the International Debating Area after the ban. Soon, The Grand Puffle Republic unbanned Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, but he didn't come back because Imelash was still in power. Hamfit writes the regional newspaper. From now on this page will refer to the region as 'The Coffee Shop'.
History: The Coffee Shop originated after the collapse of The Cult of Boo the Dog, as their Factbook entry put it "as a peaceful area to converse, eat, and drink". Several other nations split off as well. These include the regions DEATHMURDERCLOWNSINTHEFOREST, The Empire of True Nations, The Utopian Nations of Wasamu, The United Nations of ScootsMoMo, and Kuiper. The Coffee Shop has embassy with all of them. The Confederacy of Interuniversal Nations also has embassy with the Coffee Shop but was not a split off of The Cult Of Boo The Dog. Overall, there has been some conflict and the 'peaceful' part of the name is partially true. They sometimes debate, and on rare occasions it will devolve into an uprising. Overall the region is a nice place to interact and most people enjoy residing there.
