The Common Armament Program (CAP) was a multinational program that pooled defense resources to research and develop cutting edge military technologies. East Malaysia, Xiopothos and the Free Pacific States created the program in 1973, pledging to share funding, technology, and other resources in a joint effort to modernize their armed forces. The CAP produced a series of designs for naval ships, military vehicles, military aircraft, and other military technologies that became commonplace in the militaries of all three countries. The East Pacific Armament Program superseded the CAP in 2005.
The CAP managed several dozen weapons programs, notably including the following:
- Military Vehicles
