Conscription

Conscription was abolished in Narsora in 1994, although it can be reinstated if the situation is deemed necessary for it. When compulsory conscription was in effect from 1960-1994, the National Military had a consistent 500,000 personnel.

Strength

Total strength (as of Oct.2015) is around 230,000 personnel, this is arrtibuted to the large number of women who enlisted following the 2015 repel of the 1961 Acto de Disciplina de Fuerzas (1961 Forces Discipline Act) that barred women from serving in the military. The act was partly repealed in 1991, when women were allowed in all non-infantry combat roles.

The budget for the military was officially stated to be around 15.8 Billion for the 2014 year. For the 2015 year it was reduced to $12.6 Billion.
