Terragaia

Terragaia is a small region, sparsely populated by only 6 nations and only one World Assembly Member.

The straight-backed, broad-smiling populace of Terragaia eagerly dismissed concerns of oppression. Denizens generally have very few political freedoms, but some limited freedom is afforded to citizens of nations in the region. The economy of the region is remarkably unremarkable, with members being neither powerhouses nor basket cases. The median tax rate of the region is 25%, but is frequently higher for the wealthy. The economies of nations in the region tend to be heavily weighted towards the private sector, with on average 25% of the economy comprising the public sector. Commerce within the region is an irrelevant annoyance to governments.

Denizens of the Terragaia are poorly educated, with rampant illiteracy. Criminality is rife within the region, with law enforcement struggling to cope. Governments allocate a meagre -1%, on average, of their budgets to law and order. Denizens have small defense forces. Public transport is an afterthought, with only 2% of total government budgets in the region being devoted to it.

Governments in Terragaia communicate very well amongst themselves, with administration departments working smoothly, with 2% on average of government budgets being devoted to Administration. Some government provision is made for healthcare, but at an average of only 4% the provision for healthcare in the region is paltry. Welfare in the region is minimal, with only a small amount of expenditure being devoted to spending on social security. Spirituality is a moderate priority of governments within the region, with-1% of government budgets being devoted to Spirituality.

Social inequality is a major problem within Terragaia, although some effort has been made to correct the problem. Natural environments are quite bad, although some measures have been undertaken to ensure that the environment is protected.
