Aleisyrian Empire is a minuscule region, inhabited by a few solitary nations and without any World Assembly representation.
In Aleisyrian Empire, denizens enjoy their civil rights, although not too much, or too freely. Denizens generally have very few political freedoms, but some limited freedom is afforded to citizens of nations in the region. Families in the region discuss laffer curves and supply-side reforms over supper, such is the level of obsession exhibited by member nations. Inhabitants of the region ultimately pay most of their earnings to the government, as the median tax rate is 81%, or more! The economies of nations in the region tends to be heavily weighted towards the private sector, with on average only 39% of the economy comprising the public sector. Commerce is low priority for governments, accounting for an average of 4% of public expenditure, although commerce is generally seen as a source of tax revenue.
Aleisyrian Empire does not prioritize education in any meaningful way. Criminality is rife within the region, with law enforcement struggling to cope. Governments allocate a meagre 9%, on average, of their budgets to law and order. Denizens have very well-funded, well equipped defense forces. Public transport is something of an afterthought in government budgeting, with only 1% of total government budgets in the region being devoted to it.
Governments in Aleisyrian Empire find themselves in a constant state of disarray, with very little co-ordination, only 1% on average of government budgets being devoted to Administration. Some government provision is made for healthcare, but at an average of only 2% the provision for healthcare in the region is paltry. No welfare is provided in the region. Those unlucky enough to fall into unemployment are forgotten and abandoned. Governments in the region are avowedly atheist - no public funds are allocated to spirituality.
Social inequality is rife amongst the nations within Aleisyrian Empire. The landscapes of the region are no longer recognizable as such, the atmosphere being unbreathable and the only jungles being made of concrete.
