Most denizens subsist off of basic farming or menial factory jobs, with few economic imports or exports. Income taxes are unheard of amongst the denizens of the region. Commerce is low priority for governments, accounting for an average of -1% of public expenditure, although commerce is generally seen as a source of tax revenue.
